Remote Data Specialist responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end‑to‑end data pipelines, scalable dashboards, and reliable reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Airflow, Snowflake and Tableau.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources.
- Build and optimize scalable dashboards and reports for business stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and governance processes to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to define data models and support data‑driven decision making.
- Manage cloud data infrastructure (AWS) and data warehousing solutions (Snowflake) to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow).
- Proven ability to design and maintain data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
- Experience creating visual analytics and dashboards using Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and best practices for security and scalability.
