Data Specialist responsible for extracting, transforming, and analyzing large financial datasets, building data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights using SQL, Python, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest and cleanse financial transaction data from multiple sources.
- Write complex SQL queries and Python scripts to generate reports, dashboards, and analytical models.
- Collaborate with product, finance, and engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
- Implement data modeling best practices to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows on AWS cloud services for performance and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or data engineering roles.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools and building data pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and relational databases.
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda) and cloud‑based data solutions.
