Lead the design and deployment of cloud‑native data platforms for commercial banking, leveraging Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, and Kafka to build robust ETL/ELT pipelines and enforce data governance across real‑time and batch environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, cloud‑native data platforms for commercial banking products, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, Kafka, and modern data technologies for real‑time and batch processing.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product owners, and compliance teams to define data governance, quality, and metadata standards.
- Integrate regulatory requirements into data architecture, ensuring auditability and compliance across all data flows.
- Mentor and guide cross‑functional teams on best practices for data engineering and platform operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of solution architecture or technical implementation experience, with 2+ years focused on data engineering or enterprise data platforms.
- Deep expertise in commercial banking products, especially commercial lending and treasury management.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP, and proficiency in Databricks, Kafka, and related data technologies.
- Strong background in designing ETL/ELT frameworks and building data pipelines for both real‑time and batch environments.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, metadata management, and regulatory compliance.
