Contract Data Solution Architect responsible for designing and implementing scalable data platforms, integrating cloud services, and delivering robust ETL pipelines using Python, SQL/NoSQL, and big‑data technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data architectures that support aerospace engineering and operations workloads.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration flows using Python and industry‑standard tools.
- Define data models, schemas, and governance standards for both relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) stores.
- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) to provision scalable storage, compute, and analytics services.
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and performance through monitoring, testing, and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering data solutions in complex, regulated environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one NoSQL technology (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
- Hands‑on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Demonstrated expertise with cloud services (AWS or Azure) and big‑data frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data governance principles.
