Lead the design and implementation of scalable data lakehouse solutions for a large retail environment, driving customer data strategy, analytics, and governance while influencing senior stakeholders.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data lakehouse solutions that support real‑time analytics and customer insight platforms.
- Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and product teams to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
- Present technical solutions and business value to senior stakeholders, driving adoption and alignment.
- Continuously evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to the data architecture roadmap.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data or Solution Architect in a large‑scale retail or consumer‑facing organization.
- Deep expertise in Customer Data Architecture, Customer Data Management, and data lake/lakehouse design.
- Strong background in analytics, reporting, and customer insight platforms.
- Solid understanding of data governance, security, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership.
