Lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions using AWS, SQL, and Python, driving enterprise data strategy and ensuring high-quality, secure data pipelines for complex analytics workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end‑to‑end data solutions on AWS, including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming pipelines.
- Design and implement robust ETL processes using Python, SQL, and AWS Glue or Data Pipeline.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data models.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data assets.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers and architects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing enterprise data architectures.
- Proficiency in AWS services (S3, Redshift, Athena, Glue, Kinesis).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and columnar databases.
- Hands‑on Python programming for data processing and automation.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL design, and data governance best practices.
