Software Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of secure data architectures, ensuring robust encryption, compliance, and IAM controls across cloud platforms to protect enterprise data assets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure data storage, processing, and transfer solutions across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Design and enforce encryption strategies, key management, and data masking to meet regulatory and internal security standards.
- Collaborate with data engineering, DevOps, and security teams to integrate security controls into data pipelines and analytics workflows.
- Develop and maintain data security policies, threat models, and incident response plans for data assets.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing on data infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture with a focus on security.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security services, encryption technologies, and IAM best practices.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) preferred.
