Data Scientist
UCL is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team, responsible for designing and implementing data extraction pipelines for national and international databases. The role involves automating data processes, ensuring data quality, and supporting data-related queries and access for research projects.
Working closely with the project team, the post holder will be responsible for Design and implement data extraction pipelines for two main databases - one national and one international, to support analytics and data science workflows, automating and improving data extraction processes for regular activity and new research projects, setting up, implementing, and reporting on quality control, data completeness and validation checks, setting up and implementing a graphical interface for visual data exploration, liaising with data managers to support data cleaning and data validation processes, addressing and resolving data queries from internal and external collaborators and support colleagues with data access. The salary range for this post is £40,524 - £47,478 per annum and this post is available for 18 months in the first instance.
