Data Scientist
Lead advanced analytics for staffing, building predictive models and dashboards using Python, SQL, and machine learning to optimize workforce planning and resource allocation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models to forecast staffing needs and optimize workforce allocation.
- Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from internal HR and operational systems using SQL and Python.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Document modeling processes, maintain reproducible code repositories, and ensure compliance with data governance policies.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles, preferably in a large, complex organization.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, statsmodels) and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
