Responsibilities
- Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Apply advanced statistical methods to extract meaningful insights from data.
- Develop and implement machine learning models for various tasks such as classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation systems.
- Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms.
- Create informative data visualizations to communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production.
- Generate actionable insights for business improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics), preferably BE in Computer Science.
- Master’s degree in data science, Statistics or MBA in related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or a related field.
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms.
- Fluency in a programming language (Python, R, SQL).
- Familiarity with Snowflake Environment, AWS and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex business challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey insights to non-technical stakeholders.
