About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable analytical solutions for commodity trading and market analysis.
- Automate data workflows, ensuring data quality and timely delivery to stakeholders.
- Develop and validate statistical and machine learning models to extract actionable commercial insights.
- Collaborate with trading, risk, and IT teams to integrate models into production systems.
- Document methodologies, model assumptions, and performance metrics for audit and compliance.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with SQL for data manipulation.
- Experience building and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling, time‑series analysis, and quantitative finance.
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
