About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end risk modeling solutions, from data ingestion to model deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define business requirements and translate them into analytical frameworks.
- Leverage Python, SQL, and AWS services to build scalable data pipelines and model hosting environments.
- Validate model performance, conduct sensitivity analyses, and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in model governance and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science with a focus on risk modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong background in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and model validation.
- Experience with data engineering concepts and scalable pipeline development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
