About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load large revenue cycle datasets using SQL and Python.
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, forecast trends, and uncover opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with finance, billing, and clinical teams to translate analytical findings into process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Document methodologies, model assumptions, and results for reproducibility and audit purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within healthcare or revenue cycle environments.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
