Lead the design and implementation of advanced analytics and data‑management solutions for large research datasets, leveraging Python, R, SQL, and machine learning techniques to support high‑impact scientific projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for research datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud services.
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to extract insights, support reproducibility, and enhance data quality.
- Collaborate with domain scientists to design data models, metadata standards, and FAIR data practices.
- Implement interactive visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data‑management policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience with Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong background in research data management, metadata standards, and reproducible science.
