Experienced Data Scientist with strong Python skills and GEOINT background, applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to solve high‑tempo national security challenges.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Python‑based data pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform geospatial and intelligence datasets.
- Develop and deploy machine‑learning models that support real‑time GEOINT analysis for national security operations.
- Perform statistical modeling and exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights from complex, multi‑source data.
- Create interactive visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and subject‑matter experts to integrate analytic solutions into existing federal systems.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, and geopandas.
- Hands‑on experience with GEOINT concepts, geospatial data formats, and GIS tools.
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical methods, and data‑driven problem solving.
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.
- Current TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one.
