About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine‑learning models to support defence, national security, and robotics applications.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with engineers, domain experts, and stakeholders to integrate data‑driven solutions into operational systems.
- Build data pipelines and automated workflows using cloud services (e.g., AWS) to ensure scalable, reliable data processing.
- Create clear visualisations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with machine‑learning libraries such as scikit‑learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Solid background in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL and data‑visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, matplotlib).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, for building and deploying data pipelines.
- Eligibility for UK security clearance (BPSS and SC) and ability to work in a high‑security environment.
