Data Scientist
Data Scientist/Modeller focused on credit risk and growth for consumer lending, building acquisition scorecards, propensity models, and behavioral scorecards while driving data‑led decisioning across underwriting and growth.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop acquisition scorecards (NTC, thin‑file, full‑file) for consumer lending.
- Build affluence and income estimation models to support credit decisions.
- Design and implement propensity and intent models for cross‑sell and customer targeting.
- Create behavioral scorecards for portfolio management and risk monitoring.
- Engineer features from bureau, banking, and behavioral data to improve model performance.
- Deploy models, set up monitoring, and recalibrate as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Collaborate closely with Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to integrate models into production workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in credit risk modeling and consumer lending.
- Strong background in scorecard development and propensity modeling.
- Hands‑on expertise with feature engineering and data pipelines.
- Experience deploying models to production and maintaining monitoring frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
