About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct exploratory data analysis on economic, industrial, logistics, and geospatial datasets to uncover actionable insights.
- Design, develop, and validate predictive models using machine learning techniques in Python and R.
- Implement advanced statistical and geospatial algorithms to identify hidden patterns and support decision‑making.
- Collaborate with analysts and mission stakeholders to translate analytical findings into operational recommendations.
- Create clear visualizations and reports that communicate complex results to non‑technical audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation and model development.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, caret, etc.) and geospatial tools (GIS, GeoPandas).
- Strong statistical modeling skills and ability to apply them to real‑world problems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
