About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a multidisciplinary team of data scientists and analysts on federal data science initiatives.
- Architect and implement scalable ML pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
- Champion Agile practices, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement.
- Maintain high standards of data quality, security, and compliance across all projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data science experience with a proven track record in team leadership.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS (S3, SageMaker, Redshift).
- Hands‑on experience building production‑grade ML models and pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a federal or regulated environment is highly desirable.
