Lead a team of data scientists to deliver advanced analytics and actionable insights for Medical Affairs, driving launch readiness and engagement strategies using Python, SQL, ML, and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional data science team to develop predictive models and dashboards that inform Medical Affairs strategy.
- Design and implement end‑to‑end analytics pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services to transform complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business problems, translate them into analytical solutions, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with regulatory standards across all projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of analytical methodologies, including machine learning model development and performance monitoring.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in the life sciences or medical affairs domain is highly desirable.
