Data Scientist
Lead the transformation of automotive insurance data into actionable insights using advanced machine learning and AI techniques. Drive pricing optimization, claim automation, and process efficiency for a leading German insurer.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end machine learning models to optimize pricing, fraud detection, and claim processing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions.
- Maintain and enhance data pipelines, ensuring high data quality and scalability on AWS.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation using Python and SQL.
- Communicate findings and model performance to stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in building production‑ready ML models in a commercial environment.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with familiarity in libraries such as scikit‑learn, pandas, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, SageMaker, Glue) and data warehousing.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
