LTIMindtree is seeking a Data Scientist with 5-15 years of experience to design and develop ML/NLP models for various project requirements. The role involves taking ownership of model setup, working closely with product teams, and providing thought leadership on ML/NLP-based solutions for clients.

Role: Data Scientist

LTIMindtree is looking for a Data Scientist with 5 to 15 years of experience to join our team in India.

Responsibilities

Design and develop ML / NLP models for project requirements.
Deliver ownership to set up ML / NLP models with respect to tools, data, and infrastructure as required.
Work closely with the Product Owner and Product architect from ML-based solution conceptualization till implementation in response to a client requirement.
Provide thought leadership on building ML/NLP based solutions based on client requirements.
Lead the ML / NLP dialogue during customer visits and other partner events.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of machine learning / NLP algorithms including Information extraction, named entity recognition, text clustering, text summarization, intent classification, word embeddings, vector space models; experience in developing models.
Strong experience in NLP using Python; experience in developing microservices and web services.
Understanding of data and data analysis; experience with large data sets.
Thorough with pandas, scikit and numpy.
5+ years of experience implementing and deploying machine learning and deep learning frameworks (Spark, TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, etc.) through distribution cluster and application programming in cloud platforms including Azure, IBM, AWS and GCP.
Hands-on experience with Data Science / Big Data technology and architecture.
Proficiency in Gen-AI, ChatGPT, Langchain, Prompt, vector stores, RAG, llama.
Expertise in ML, NLP, Computer vision, Deep learning, Machine learning, OCR, Transformer, regression, forecasting, classification, hyper parameter tunning, MLOps, Inference, Model training, Model Deployment.
