Senior data scientist responsible for extracting insights from large, complex datasets, building predictive models, and communicating results using advanced statistical and machine‑learning techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines for acquisition, cleaning, and curation of large‑scale datasets.
- Develop and validate statistical and machine‑learning models to support business and domain‑specific decision making.
- Create clear visualizations and dashboards that translate analytical findings into actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Document workflows and ensure reproducibility through version control, automated testing, and robust code practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define problem statements, evaluate model performance, and integrate solutions into production environments.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MSc/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, including hands‑on work with Python or R and SQL databases.
- Proven expertise in statistical modeling, machine‑learning algorithms, and data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, ggplot2, Tableau).
- Strong foundation in mathematical and computational concepts, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of presenting technical results to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
