Data Scientist responsible for automating security evaluation processes, building continuous assessment pipelines, and analyzing lifecycle data using Python, statistical models, and data visualization to improve system security and authorization workflows.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated pipelines that replace manual security evaluation and authorization tasks.
- Develop Python‑based data processing and statistical models to assess system security posture continuously.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate risk metrics and compliance status to stakeholders.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including network telemetry and project lifecycle databases, using SQL and ETL techniques.
- Collaborate with engineering and security teams to define data requirements and ensure model accuracy.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, modeling, and automation.
- Strong background in statistical analysis and machine‑learning techniques applied to security or risk data.
- Experience building data visualizations and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or custom Python libraries).
- Solid SQL skills for querying and integrating heterogeneous data sources.
- Ability to work in a highly secure environment and obtain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
