About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to predict insurance risk, maintenance needs, and repair outcomes.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data from vehicle telematics, customer interactions, and third‑party APIs.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data engineering teams to integrate models into production pipelines on AWS.
- Communicate findings through dashboards, visualizations, and executive summaries to inform business strategy.
- Continuously evaluate model performance, iterate on feature engineering, and implement A/B tests to validate impact.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field with 3+ years of data science experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ML libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Hands‑on experience deploying models to AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, Glue).
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross‑functional projects.
