Data Scientist needed to develop predictive models and analytics pipelines for a fast‑growing asset‑management platform, leveraging Python, machine learning, and cloud services to improve insurance, diagnostics, and marketplace experiences.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy machine‑learning models that predict risk, pricing, and customer behavior across automotive and emerging home asset lines.
- Develop end‑to‑end data pipelines on AWS, integrating structured and unstructured data from insurance, telematics, and marketplace sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to uncover insights that drive product features and business strategy.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to product, engineering, and leadership teams.
- Collaborate with engineers to operationalize models in production, monitor performance, and iterate based on real‑world feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role, preferably in insurance, fintech, or marketplace domains.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and strong SQL querying skills.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as S3, SageMaker, Lambda, and Redshift.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into statistical models and production‑ready solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering actionable insights to cross‑functional teams.
