Experienced Data Scientist responsible for designing end‑to‑end data pipelines, automating data acquisition, cleansing raw data from diverse sources, and building analytical models to generate actionable insights for client‑focused initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store raw data from multiple sources and formats.
- Automate data acquisition workflows using ETL tools and scripting languages to ensure reliable, repeatable data delivery.
- Cleanse, validate, and enrich data sets, creating robust data models that support downstream analytics and reporting.
- Formulate detailed problem statements, develop hypotheses, and conduct exploratory analysis to uncover insights that drive business decisions.
- Build and evaluate machine‑learning models, translating findings into clear recommendations for target customers.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate data solutions into cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, and ETL processes in a production setting.
- Proven ability to design data models and pipelines for large, heterogeneous data sets.
- Experience building and deploying machine‑learning models and communicating results to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and data‑warehouse technologies.
