About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain IFC‑based data models that support risk‑based financial crime detection and prevention.
- Implement machine learning algorithms in Python to enhance predictive accuracy of fraud and money‑laundering indicators.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate models into production environments on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SQL and Python, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Document model logic, assumptions, and performance metrics; provide insights to stakeholders and support audit requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data science, with a strong background in Python, SQL, and machine learning.
- Hands‑on experience deploying models on AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2).
- Solid understanding of financial crime risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, multi‑program environment.
