About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end data science projects that influence Instagram product roadmap and investment decisions.
- Design, implement, and validate predictive models and experiments using Python, SQL, and ML frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations and storytelling, presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
- Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of data‑driven decision making across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with a strong portfolio of production‑grade models.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Deep understanding of A/B testing, causal inference, and product analytics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with large‑scale data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, or cloud services) is a plus.
