About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ingest and process large, heterogeneous educational datasets from CLI Engage and TECPDS.
- Apply machine learning techniques to model student outcomes, educator performance, and program effectiveness.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Python libraries to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research questions into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain and optimize data infrastructure on AWS, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with state regulations.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles within education or public sector.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
