About the Role
As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and optimize our products and operations. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing experiments, building predictive models, and providing actionable insights to various teams across the company.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of new features and product changes.
- Develop and implement predictive models (e.g., machine learning, statistical models) to forecast key business metrics, identify trends, and personalize user experiences.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover insights into user behavior, market trends, and business performance.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define key metrics, build data pipelines, and ensure data quality.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators and provide visibility into business health.
- Continuously explore new data sources and analytical techniques to enhance our understanding of the business and improve decision-making.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
- Proven experience with A/B testing design, execution, and statistical analysis.
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts, including hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time series analysis.
- Experience with machine learning techniques and their application to real-world problems.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks and actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Bayesian statistics.
