About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to predict wildfire risk using large-scale environmental and operational datasets.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business objectives into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Implement scalable data pipelines on AWS, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and feature engineering to improve model accuracy and interpretability.
- Communicate findings through clear visualizations and reports to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in data science, with a strong background in machine learning and predictive modeling.

- Deep knowledge of statistical methods, feature selection, and model evaluation techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
