Lead data science initiatives in digital pathology, developing machine learning models and managing large imaging datasets to advance diagnostic workflows and research outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for pathology image analysis and diagnostic support.
- Manage and curate large-scale histopathology datasets, ensuring data quality, annotation consistency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with clinicians, pathologists, and bioinformaticians to translate research findings into clinical tools.
- Implement robust data pipelines, automate preprocessing, feature extraction, and model evaluation workflows.
- Publish results in peer‑reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field with strong quantitative background.
- Proven experience in Python, machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and deep learning for image analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with digital pathology platforms, image segmentation, and feature extraction.
- Strong statistical analysis skills and familiarity with data management best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
