Lead data science initiatives in digital pathology, developing machine‑learning models to analyze histopathology images, managing large biomedical datasets, and collaborating with clinical teams to translate insights into diagnostic tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate machine‑learning and deep‑learning models for histopathology image analysis.
- Manage and curate large biomedical datasets, ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with pathologists and clinicians to translate analytical findings into actionable diagnostic workflows.
- Implement scalable data pipelines and deploy models on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field with strong quantitative background.
- Proven experience in Python, machine‑learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and image‑analysis libraries.
- Hands‑on experience with digital pathology data, including whole‑slide imaging and annotation tools.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with cloud data services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
