Data Scientist responsible for building predictive models and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services to support business decisions in a fast‑moving hospitality technology environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and improve operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Python and SQL.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation.
- Deploy models to production on AWS, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science libraries (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and model deployment best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
