Lead a team of applied optimization scientists to design and deploy data‑driven solutions using Python, machine learning, and advanced statistical techniques, driving business impact across complex operational challenges.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team of data scientists and analysts in developing optimization models that solve real‑world business problems.
- Design, implement, and validate machine learning and statistical models using Python, R, and SQL to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Oversee end‑to‑end model lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership through clear visualizations and executive‑level presentations.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in applied optimization, data science, or advanced analytics.
- Proficiency in Python, machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and statistical modeling.
- Strong background in optimization techniques (linear programming, integer programming, stochastic optimization).
- Experience with SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
