About the Role
Wakefit.co is seeking a Data Science Manager to participate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions. This role involves partnering with marketing and various analytics teams to analyze performance and provide actionable insights. The manager will be responsible for owning the production, development, and maintenance of data cubes, reports, dashboards, and ongoing analyses, ensuring SLAs are met.
Responsibilities
- Participate and collaborate with cross-functional teams in the organization to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that can scale.
- Partner with marketing and various analytics teams to understand business requirements, analyze performance, and provide actionable insights.
- Own production, development, and maintenance of data cubes, reports, dashboards, and ongoing analyses to meet SLAs.
- Continuously think on how to improve the analytics infrastructure for the team and automate processes.
- Identify key business levers, establish cause effect, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Perform deep-dive analysis of key business trends from multiple perspectives and package the insights into easily consumable presentations.
- Explain technical concepts and analysis implications to varied audiences and translate business objectives into analyses.
- Nurture and mentor a small team of analysts in delivering actionable insights and business intelligence, and developing future leaders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, engineering, or management consulting, or equivalent analytical and project management experience.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (such as Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Engineering) or equivalent field experience.
- Accomplished team leader, with experience managing high-performing Data Scientists and Quantitative Analysts.
- Experience in managing analytics projects from inception to delivery, including developing structured solutions.
- Experience with visualizations, dashboards, and reports.
- Experience with data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data science techniques is a plus.
