Lead a high‑impact data science team focused on network orchestration, driving ML‑powered routing and optimization across a global delivery platform using Python, SQL and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional data science team to develop predictive models for network routing and capacity planning.
- Design and implement end‑to‑end ML pipelines in Python, leveraging SQL and AWS services for data ingestion, feature engineering and model deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering, product and operations to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Own model monitoring, performance tuning and continuous improvement to ensure high reliability and accuracy.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, driving data‑driven decision making.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data science or analytics, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL and AWS (S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Lambda).
- Strong background in machine learning, especially in routing, scheduling or network optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume e‑commerce or logistics environment is a plus.
