As a Data Science Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping next-gen data science capabilities for a world-class brand, influencing business-critical decisions at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a talented team of data scientists across agile pods.
- Build predictive models using advanced ML/AI techniques (Python/R).
- Engineer scalable, interpretable, and production-ready models.
- Partner with business teams to identify opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
- Explore large datasets to unlock deep business intelligence.
- Advance best practices in analytics, modeling, and experimentation.
- Communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of the curve on innovations in ML, AI, big data, and cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Experience: 7–12 Years overall, with 5+ years in applied data science.
- Technical Skills: Strong ML/AI expertise with Python/R, SQL fluency, and solid statistical foundations.
- Domain Knowledge: Experience in Digital Twin, Production Optimization, and Capacity Optimization.
- Collaboration: Proven experience in stakeholder collaboration and problem-solving.
- Mindset: A builder’s mindset with the ability to innovate and experiment.
Great to Have
- Education: Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
- Leadership: Prior leadership experience.
- Cloud/Tools: Exposure to Snowflake, Spark, Azure.
- Methodology: Experience with Agile teams.
- Advanced Modeling: Experience with advanced modeling techniques such as DOE, ANOVA, optimization, and simulation.
