About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional data science team, ensuring delivery of high‑quality analytical solutions for clinical and population health initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using Python, R, SQL, and AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into data‑driven experiments, leveraging machine learning and statistical techniques.
- Oversee model deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning, ensuring reproducibility and compliance with data governance standards.
- Present findings and actionable insights to executive leadership, using Tableau and other visualization tools to drive decision‑making.
Requirements
- 8+ years of data science or analytics experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering.
- Experience with Agile development practices and leading cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex analytics into clear business recommendations.
