Lead a data science team to develop predictive risk models and analytics solutions, leveraging Python, machine learning, and cloud platforms to support enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the data science strategy for enterprise risk management, aligning analytics initiatives with regulatory and business objectives.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to design, build, and deploy predictive risk models and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders to translate complex risk concepts into actionable data-driven insights.
- Oversee the end‑to‑end data pipeline, including data acquisition, cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation, and production deployment on cloud platforms.
- Establish best practices for model governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement to ensure model reliability and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data science or analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and machine‑learning libraries (e.g., scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and solid SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling, risk analytics, and building predictive models for financial or regulatory environments.
- Experience deploying models on cloud services such as AWS (SageMaker, EC2, Lambda) and managing scalable data pipelines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, with a track record of translating technical results into business‑focused recommendations.
