About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL to ingest, clean, and transform large clinical datasets.
- Apply machine learning techniques to predict patient outcomes, identify risk factors, and support evidence‑based decision making.
- Build interactive dashboards and visualizations with tools such as Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with data engineers, clinicians, and researchers to define analytical requirements and translate them into reproducible models.
- Deploy models and analytical workflows to AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker) ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles within a healthcare or research environment.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and deployment best practices.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and data visualization tools.
