About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines to ingest and process petabyte-scale datasets.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms to extract actionable insights and support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data requirements and translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Optimize query performance and resource utilization on Big Data platforms (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Document methodologies, model assumptions, and results for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and model deployment.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Big Data ecosystems, especially Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
