Analyze and improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of translational research data using SQL, Python, and ETL pipelines while ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards and supporting rapid insight generation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor data quality frameworks for translational research datasets.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to cleanse, transform, and validate incoming data sources.
- Perform statistical analyses and generate data quality metrics to identify anomalies and trends.
- Collaborate with bioinformaticians, clinicians, and data engineers to define data standards and governance policies.
- Document data quality issues, root‑cause analyses, and remediation actions in a clear, actionable format.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and quality checks.
- Strong Python programming skills, especially with pandas, NumPy, and data‑validation libraries.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in a healthcare or research environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, CDISC) and regulatory considerations.
- Background in statistical analysis and familiarity with tools such as R or SciPy.
