Software Engineer
Ensure accurate patient information by auditing, analyzing, and reporting on electronic medical record data, while collaborating with clinical and IT stakeholders to drive data integrity and improve care outcomes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular data quality audits of the electronic Medical Record (eMR) system to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports for clinical and operational teams.
- Collaborate with clinicians, IT staff, and business analysts to define data standards and validation rules.
- Investigate data issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to end‑users on data entry best practices and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data quality management, preferably within a healthcare environment.
- Strong SQL querying skills and ability to work with relational databases.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and healthcare data standards.
