Analyze, monitor, and improve data quality across financial systems using SQL, Python, and data profiling tools while supporting ETL processes and governance frameworks.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data quality assessments and root‑cause analysis on transactional and reference data sets.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to profile, cleanse, and validate data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business owners to design and enhance ETL pipelines for accurate data flow.
- Implement data governance standards, document data quality rules, and track remediation efforts.
- Generate regular data quality reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data quality, data analysis, or related roles within financial services.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on experience with data profiling and cleansing tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Great Expectations).
- Understanding of ETL processes and data governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
