About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve audio‑related data for machine learning models.
- Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize ML models, ensuring smooth deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
- Implement data quality frameworks, automated testing, and observability tools to guarantee reliable data for production.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) for data storage, compute, and security, optimizing cost and performance.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives with engineering, product, and research teams to align data strategy with business goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data operations, preferably in a fast‑moving startup environment.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS S3, Redshift, BigQuery, GCP equivalents) and CI/CD for data workflows.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
