About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the organization’s privacy strategy, ensuring full compliance with GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments, data mapping, and risk assessments for new and existing products.
- Lead internal and external audits, coordinate with legal, security, and product teams to remediate findings.
- Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs for employees and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data subjects, regulators, and external auditors.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data privacy, compliance, or related regulatory roles.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, and privacy best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into actionable policies.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain privacy concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Experience with privacy tools and documentation (e.g., DPIA templates, data inventory systems).
