Senior Data Platform Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a scalable enterprise data lake. Leverages Java, ETL pipelines, SQL, and Spark to ingest, transform, and serve data for global wholesale operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Java-based services for the enterprise data lake platform.
- Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest data from diverse sources into the lake.
- Implement data quality, governance, and security controls across the platform.
- Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to expose high‑value datasets.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve system scalability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Java development experience in a data‑engineering context.
- Strong knowledge of data lake architectures, ETL processes, and SQL.
- Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark or similar big‑data frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
