Devops Engineer
Lead the design and operation of scalable data platforms, crafting robust APIs, implementing agile workflows, and ensuring secure authentication, authorization, and real‑time alerting across cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance APIs that expose data platform services to internal and external consumers.
- Implement and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable releases.
- Configure and monitor alerting systems to detect anomalies, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents.
- Enforce authentication and authorization policies across all services, integrating with identity providers and role‑based access controls.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product owners, and security teams to align platform capabilities with business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps practices, preferably within data‑centric environments.
- Strong knowledge of API design principles, RESTful services, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Hands‑on experience with agile methodologies and sprint planning.
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SAML.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident response tools.
